Bicycle Users Geelong was delighted to welcome Greg Barber (Greens Member of Parliament) to Geelong today.

Greg met up with 3 BUG committee members (John , Tony and Mark) to discuss Geelong’s bike riding blackspots.

The group took a tour of local roads identifying areas for improvement along Pakington, Aberdeen, Ryrie and Moorabool streets and around the Barwon river bridge. Greg said that Geelong had good potential for better bike infrastructure calling the cities roads a ‘renovators delight’…

Thanks Greg for taking the time to visit the area and listen to local issues. We wish you well as you champion sustainable and healthier transport options for Victorians.
