The City of Greater Geelong is planning construction of a bike route along Swanston Street. This route will link the Bellarine Rail Trail with South Geelong Station, Corio Bay and the Barwon River trail.

A new section of road has been completed in Eastern Park to create new possibilities for criterium races. The road links Hearne Parade with the existing Eastern Park circuit. The short steep climb of the link will make for a more challenging course. See the COGG media release for more information.
