A ride through central Geelong on 11am Saturday 18 May
It begins at eastern park and will wind through the city streets and then back to eastern park for a BYO picnic lunch.
Lyrca is not required. Cargo bikes are encouraged.
We would love to see a number of cyclists for the ride, particularly as transport in Geelong is a key focus currently with G21 and Council. A bike safe community, means slower traffic speeds through the city and a healthier more livable city for residents.
This event is a precursor to the Geelong Better Block and will help to identify barriers to cycling in and around Geelong city streets.
Event info is on the Cycle Geelong facebook page. Hope to see a few of you there.

Thanks Tony. Would be great to see a few riders making their way through the city for the slow ride.
I hope I can be there. I’ll bring my cargo bike.
