An excellent path in North Geelong along the rail line is a model for future path development in Geelong… It’s a great example of how shared paths should look – wide, seperated, smooth and shaded. This needs to be extended from the city (as we’ve dreamt about before) to onto Lara.

We’ve been doing some hunting around the Geelong Heritage Centre to find out about the fabled Geelong bike plan from 1977… Well… We found heaps of info and have put up some of it on our new Geelong bike plan 1977 page. More coming soon, including an album dedicated to it in our facebook page.
